왜 예수님은 이 땅에 오셨을까요? 많은 사람이 하나님이나 초월적 존재를 믿지만, 우리의 삶에는 여전히 불안과 갈등, 고통이 가득합니다. 만약 하나님이 실존하신다면 왜 세상은 이렇게 깨어져 있을까요? 성경은 하나님이 침묵하지 않으셨다고 말합니다. 하나님은 자연과 선지자들, 기록을 통해 자신을 보여주셨고, 그중 가장 분명한 계시는 예수님입니다. 크리스마스는 그분의 오심을 기념하는 날입니다. 이 5일간의 묵상계획은 성경이 말하는 “예수님이 왜 오셨는가”와 그 의미를 함께 살펴봅니다.

Moody, this Bible Plan examines eight characteristics evident in the Scriptures and in the life of 19th century evangelist Dwight Moody (e.g., surrendered, prayerful, humbled, undistracted, and studious). This three week plan walks us through the timeless wonder of how God came to us through His son, Jesus. The plan is designed to begin on a Monday so that each weekend will include shorter content meant for rest and reflection during the holiday season. Join us as we study what the birth of Christ means for our future, present, and past.
