왜 대림절을 기뻐하며 찬양하는지 궁금한 적이 있습니까? 전세계의 모든 교회들이 각국의 언어로 크리스마스 캐롤을 부릅니다. 예수님을 제외한 어떤 역사 속 인물도 이토록 노래로 불려진 적은 없었습니다. 우리는 왜 크리스마스에 찬양을 하는지 알고 있습니다. 하나님 자신이 직접 우리에게 오셨기 때문입니다. 그 분은 우리를 사랑하셔서 하늘 보좌 버리시고 이 땅에 직접 오셨습니다. 4주동안 유대 땅에서 천사들이 기뻐하며 오랫동안 기다린 메시아에 대해 찬양하는 것을 묵상할 것입니다. 다시 기뻐하며 함께 말씀을 볼 때 우리 안에 일하시는 하나님을 경험하며 대림절에 우리를 구하러 오신 하나님을 지금 이순간 만나기를 소망합니다.
