Cultivating The Giving Grace III

We have been learning from God’s word how to grow in the giving grace. Another Bible truth that will enable your growth in the giving grace is the understanding of kingdom stewardship.

There are two postures you can take around God’s blessings in your life; ownership or stewardship. While the former exercises full claim and control, and decides what to do with the resources in his hand, a steward sees what he has as a divine trust. He sees his resources as tools for the advancement of God’s purpose on earth, and is ever ready to disburse as God demands.

Those who take a position of ownership over their resources become captive of mammon. You see, no man truly has control of anything. It is either God or mammon controlling the resources in your hand. God can’t bank on those who assume ownership over their resources to get His work done. They disrupt the supply chain of the economy of God’s kingdom.

When you know you are but a steward, that God is the one who gives you power to get wealth; physical strength, wisdom, opportunities and all the capital to generate the income, you will not struggle to release what God has put in your care.

Acknowledging God as your sufficiency opens you to supernatural prosperity in your finances. As God begins to increase you, you must not assume ownership over the resources He has put in your trust. Know God as your sufficiency.
