TIME IS SACRED

A year holds 365 days, 52 weeks, 8,760 hours, and 525,600 minutes—each one a gift. Time is sacred. God, who exists outside of time, has entrusted us with it to steward wisely.

Eccleciastes 3:1 (AMPC) reminds us that: " To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven."

Your life unfolds in seasons, each carrying unique purpose. When you discern the season you're in, you can partner more intentionally with God.

Ephesians 5:15-17 (AMPC) enlightens us: " Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is."

As you stand at the threshold of a new year, reflect on how you've walked through the last one. Did you recognize its purpose? Did you walk with the Spirit? Now, listen for His heart for the year ahead and let Him lead you into it.

Prayer:

Father, thank you for being so intentional with me. You have designed every season of my life. Help me to see what You see and grasp what your will for my life is. Amen.

Take action:

1. Thank God that your time is in His hands.

2. Surrender your time and your purpose to Him.
