Sharing Good Newsಮಾದರಿ

We are ALL called
‘I got a new job!’
‘I bought a new car!’
‘He proposed!’
‘We’re having a baby!’
These announcements are often made enthusiastically in a gathering of family and friends and are responded to with a great deal of excitement and joy. News like this from our loved ones fills us with anticipation and hope for the future, marking the beginning of a new chapter in people’s lives as they farewell their old season and move forward to embrace what lies ahead.
It would be unusual if people weren’t excited to share their news, or if they saw it as anything but good news... and we, as followers of Jesus, have the best news of all: we have a good God. He is the only true and living God. He is a God who sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross and rise from the grave so we can be forgiven of all our sins and live for eternity in heaven with Him – if we can accept Him as Lord and Saviour of our lives.
Who is going to tell them though? The pastors? The worship leaders? The Bible makes it very clear it is the responsibility of ALL believers to share our good news, and to share about the Gospel wherever we go so that people can choose to follow Jesus Christ.
The truth of the matter is, of all the news that is out there, we’ve got by far the BEST good news to share.

“The love of Jesus is too incredible and life-changing to keep to ourselves. When we experience something good in our lives, we are quick to share it with others. Why not the life-changing love of Jesus? When we’ve experienced His goodness and grace, how can we not share the good news?” (How Can We Not Share About Jesus! – Leila Armstrong)
