Jesus Beckoning Call

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” I Peter 5:7 NKJV

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20 NKJV

Jesus is the only God who willingly went before the judgment of man, was convicted, tortured, humiliated, nailed to a cross, died, put into a tomb, and on the third day, rose and walked among men for another 40 days before ascending to our Heavenly Father. On that cross in excruciating pain, some of His last words were, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34a KJV

Jesus is the only God with whom countless men, women, teens, and children have had a life-changing transformation. Although they may testify with words, the change that is witnessed by those who know them proves that Jesus is the Living God.

I have no idea who reads my devotionals, or what walk of life they come from, but I can assure whoever reads them that God loves you and He cares deeply about every aspect of your life, big and small.

If you have that inner tug, that inner nudge, the Holy Spirit of God is beckoning you. For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 ESV. Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Prayer: Father, thank You that if we say what is in our hearts, express it with sincerity, and ask Your forgiveness and help, we turn a new page in life and walk forward with You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
