This 5-day plan will help readers gain a biblical understanding and perspective on greed, apply it to their lives, and prepare them to share this learning with others.

What makes a good leader? God cares about character, not skill sets. When God was picking someone to lead His people, He had to remind them, ".. man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). God told King Solomon, “I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.” God did as He said, making Solomon the wisest man to ever live. Solomon shared this godly wisdom in the Book of Proverbs. One of the 11 books in the Hebrew Bible known as the Ketuvim, Hebrew for “writings,” Proverbs is part of the “wisdom tradition,” which includes Job and Ecclesiastes.
