Stories are how we make sense of the world. They’re also how we make sense of our work. In this plan, I’ll show how Scripture refutes the two most common stories our world tells about the meaning of work, and paint a picture of how God’s master narrative gives us the biggest story for our work and the rest of our lives.

Jesus talked about his “Kingdom” fifteen times more than he talked about personal salvation. As important as sharing the gospel is, there are many ways in which your work can contribute to God’s mission for the world. In this plan, we will explore four of the ways your work matters for eternity beyond “saving souls.”

Nobody knows the exact time of Christ’s return, but we know for a fact that the signs of the time will include hardships and tribulations. We need to be more vigilant, making firm our faith in Christ, and pursuing the accomplishment of the great commission to the best of our efforts, for the glory and honor of our God.
