New Mind, New Heart

DAY 2 OF 3

Holding On to Promises, Not Doubts

Have you ever trusted a promise from a friend or family member and they let you down? That hurts. But God’s promises are different: they never expire, never fail, and are always with you.

Isaiah 41:10 reminds us: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” Jesus Himself said: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). His promises don’t erase problems, but they assure us we’ll never face them alone.

Metanoia also means learning to think about the future the way God does: not with anxiety, but with trust. Paul describes this as being “transformed from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Each promise we cling to is a step toward becoming more like Christ.

God’s promises are like spiritual Wi-Fi: invisible, but powerful. And unlike home internet, the signal never drops.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Which promise of God do you need to repeat out loud today to overcome fear?
  2. Do you tend to dwell more on your problems or on God’s promises?

Challenge:

Write down three biblical promises and place them where you’ll see them often (mirror, fridge, phone). Repeat them out loud every morning this week.

About this Plan

New Mind, New Heart

Faith is not just about “doing things for God,” but about being transformed by Him from the inside out. This 3-day plan invites you to discover biblical metanoia: a deep change of mind and heart rooted in Jesus. With simplicity and hope, you’ll learn to think with the mind of Christ, trust His promises, and live out what you believe in daily life.
