“I Once Was Blind, but Now I See”: Faith and Unbelief in John 9

When Jesus healed a blind man in John 9, He did more than cure a physical ailment. He opened a heart’s eyes to faith. Yet as the Pharisees interrogated the man, they showed what hearts look like when they are still blinded by proud unbelief. The ministry of Jesus is to transform hearts, turning them to God, as He did for the man born blind.
