There is no greater relationship we can have than a relationship with the Lord. The Psalmist said to the Lord, “You are my hiding place…” It is in the “hiding place”, our personal relationship with the Lord, that we can discover just how awesome He is. Because He is, in essence, nothing less than awesome, our relationship with Him should be nothing less. Developing an Awesome Relationship With God in the Psalms

Most of us like the idea of honesty.  But when push comes to shove, it can feel impossible to live out.  Some of the most radically honest moments in the Bible appear in the Psalms.  They deal with remorse for sin, spiritual dryness, grief, anger, pride, unanswered prayer, and more. And sometimes when we can’t find the words, it helps to use the words of another to express how we feel. The Psalms teach us many things, but one thing they teach by example is how to be honest with God.
