2 Samweli 11:4

Through these daily readings, discover who the real King David of the Bible was. Both noble and wretched, neither a saint nor a monster, at times victorious and other times a failure, David was through it all a man after God's own heart.

In this fourth message of our series on Psalm 23, we consider the way that the Shepherd cares for us when we are in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Whether we face physical or spiritual death or hardship, in Christ we need not fear. With His rod and staff, the Shepherd provides for our comfort.

Sexual Violence Uncovered focuses on sexual abuse in Scripture, helping readers recognize its prevalence and reverberating effects on individuals and communities. Through the stories of Tamar and Bathsheba in 2 Samuel, this plan examines difficult narratives of sexual violence that are often omitted from pulpits and Bible studies. Our prayer is that these stories will inspire greater understanding, compassion, and informed advocacy, recognizing that sexual violence is not only an individual concern but a community responsibility.
