Matthew 7:23

Independence is impossible because you’re always depending on something: water to hydrate you, food to nourish you, and God to hold all things in the world together. You were created to be dependent. You must realize that you can do absolutely nothing without Christ—you need God. If you’re open to learning what it looks like to depend on God fully, then this plan is for you!

The world tends to think that there are many ways to Heaven. In fact, it can feel like heaven is more like a destination that can be mapped out on a navigation system where you can see many routes to the destination. How should Believers think regarding this topic? We will explore ideas and reflections on heaven, in the coming days – let's get into it.

Jesus used parables to teach others, and these still speak to us today. Many parables are well known; others less so. Some bring comfort; others correction. Some are easy; others difficult. Of all parables, we hear a take-away message that sounds right & fine, but may miss the key point – likely because that teaching is so difficult. In this devotional, we take a closer look at this most difficult parable.

Many people are smiling, but hurting inside. But, I have discovered that God is doing something in everyone's life. And, He's doing something in mine too!
