LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 8 OF 30

Hook Up to Grace That Sustains

Deer thrive not by brute strength but by agility and grace. They move smoothly where others stumble. Habakkuk described this as “the Lord’s strength,” but Paul revealed it more clearly: Grace.

Paul knew both the mountains of success and the valleys of suffering. He testified, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). When he prayed for his “thorn” to be removed, the Lord responded, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Grace is God’s oil, keeping the flame of your spiritual life burning even when the enemy throws water at it. It is the quiet strength behind every faithful leader. Without grace, the law condemns; with grace, the heart is cleansed, strengthened, and empowered.

So what do we need? The humility to depend on grace daily. The same grace that saved you is the grace that sustains you. Stop striving in your own energy. Rest in the grace that never runs dry.

Consider: Are you leading from grace or from grind? What difference would it make to rely fully on the oil of God’s grace today?
