LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 7 OF 30

Keep Climbing

A deer never fears the heights. It leaps from rock to rock, - steady, graceful, and confident - its hooves sure even on dangerous ground. The deer’s movement reminds us that progress is possible, even in difficult terrain. The life of faith is not a smooth highway; it is a climb filled with rugged paths, steep ascents, and unexpected drops.

Between every mountaintop of victory lie valleys of testing and waiting. Joseph’s story illustrates this truth: from the pit to Potiphar’s house, from prison to the palace: each stage demanded endurance and courage. The Apostle Paul said, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14, NIV).

Leadership follows the same rhythm. God calls you to keep ascending, growing in wisdom, maturity, and influence. But each new level requires strength and perseverance. Some begin the climb with zeal but grow weary halfway up, settling into the comfort of the familiar valley. Yet you were not created to remain there. You were born for movement, for progress, for heights. So keep climbing. When the path grows narrow, trust your Guide. When your feet slip, rise again.

Consider: God gives you strength for every step and grace for every fall. The summit always reveals a clearer view of His glory—and it is worth every struggle.
