LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 30 OF 30

The Grace of Stewardship

“Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things…” (Matthew 25:21). Every creature in creation fulfills a purpose; none exists without design or duty. Even the octopus, often hidden in the ocean’s depths, plays a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. It serves its world quietly yet effectively. In the same way, leadership is not about domination, but stewardship; not control, but care. True leadership is the sacred management of what belongs to God.

The spiritually aware leader senses the emotional and spiritual “currents” of those they lead. Like the octopus, which extends its arms with delicate sensitivity, such a leader reaches out with compassion rather than coercion. Every decision and every instruction is touched by empathy and guided by discernment.

When leaders walk in spiritual awareness, their influence heals rather than harms. Their presence brings peace, and their words inspire growth. Leadership ceases to be about power and becomes about partnership with God in serving others. Authority guided by awareness transforms into service that glorifies God.

Are your leadership choices shaped more by control or by compassion? Do your actions build or bruise those around you?

Consider: Leadership that reflects God’s heart is faithful stewardship: caring, humble, and life-giving.
