LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 21 OF 30

Build Inner Strength

“Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder?” (Job 39:19). God’s first question to Job about the horse concerns strength. True leadership begins with this divine endowment. The horse represents power, endurance, and courage: qualities essential for those who lead in life’s battles. Its very presence commands attention; its stride speaks of confidence born from inner strength.

The Lord reminded Job that victory does not begin on the battlefield but in the inner strength God provides. Before a warrior charges, he must first be fortified within. Strength is not merely physical; it is mental, moral, and spiritual. Proverbs 24:5 declares, “A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increases strength.” The more you know God, the stronger you become in facing life’s storms.

Great leaders understand this truth. They feed their minds with wisdom, their souls with truth, and their bodies with care. They draw from divine energy to endure what others cannot. Such strength is not loud; it is steady, silent, and sure. When you are clothed with God’s strength, fear cannot disrobe you, and pressure cannot break you.

Consider: Have you built your inner strength through knowledge, prayer, and discipline? Remember, no one rises beyond the strength that sustains him.
