Grace & Truthનમૂનો

Preparing the Way
From his prison cell, John the Baptist sent his followers to Jesus with an honest question: “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?” Even this faithful prophet wrestled with doubt. He had given everything to prepare the way for Jesus, yet his circumstances felt like failure.
Jesus did not scold him. He simply said, “Go and tell John what you hear and see.” He pointed to the evidence of God’s kingdom breaking through: healing, renewal, and good news for the poor. Grace and truth were at work, even in the darkness of John’s imprisonment.
Like John, we may question whether our faithfulness is worth it when we cannot see results. But the call of Advent is to trust that every act of obedience prepares a way for others to encounter Christ. Whether you serve behind the scenes, offer encouragement, or pray quietly for others, your faithfulness makes a way for God’s grace to move.
Reflection Questions:
1.When have you experienced doubt while trying to follow what you believed God was asking of you?
2.How can you look for signs of God’s work in places that feel uncertain or unfinished?
3.Who might God be calling you to encourage or prepare the way for this Advent season?
About this Plan

Advent is the season when we prepare our hearts for the arrival of Jesus - the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth. In these five reflections, we’ll look at how Jesus reveals the fullness of God’s love and challenges us to live in that same balance of mercy and conviction. Each week offers a Scripture reading, a short devotional, and questions for reflection to help you draw closer to Christ. As you read, may you come to know that God’s grace meets you in truth, and His truth always leads you back to grace.
