Complete in Christ

Many singles feel that life begins only when marriage happens, but that’s not God’s design. Your worth and completeness are not found in another person but in Christ. The Bible reminds us: “You are complete in Him” (Colossians 2:10a). That means marriage adds to your life; it doesn’t define it. God made you whole from the beginning, with purpose, gifts, and value.

When you understand that truth, you stop waiting to “start living” until someone chooses you. You start discovering why God created you. You start walking in confidence, knowing your single season is not a holding pattern; it’s a preparation ground. Maybe you’ve faced family or social pressure, or maybe loneliness feels like a constant battle. But God hasn’t forgotten you. The same God who’s writing others’ stories is still crafting yours.

So, instead of focusing on what hasn’t happened, focus on what God is building in you. Your waiting time is not wasted time, it’s working time.
