More Than Words - the Transforming Power of Prayerનમૂનો

A Conference Call With God
At Fearless Faith, we do conference calls because we live in different parts of the country. We can’t all be in the same place at the same time very often. We have a conference call to keep everything in order and ensure that we are staying on course in the direction God is leading us. And we use our conference call time to pray together.
Today my wife and I will be making our own conference call. This call won’t require a phone because we’ll be talking with God. The Bible says in Matthew 18:20 (NIV) “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
God is in our midst when we pray together. When my wife and I take matters before the Lord, we know that He is in our midst. Now that doesn’t mean God doesn’t hear us when we’re praying individually because the Bible tells us in I Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV) “Pray continually.” We pray throughout the day in our thoughts and in our words, silently or out loud. We’re always praying, and God always hears our prayers.
When God tells us that when two or three are gathered together that He is in our midst, I believe God sees our obedience and faith. We come to Him together because we believe that what He said is true. It is so important to come together and pray in unity. I want to encourage you to do the same today. Set up a conference call with God and someone in your family, or a friend, or a church member. Get together with a person you have confidence in. Believe that God will hear and answer your prayers. And as God has promised, He will be there with you, too. God never misses a conference call from His children.
Ask Yourself:
Who comes to mind when I think of praying with someone? Is it time to set up a conference call with God?
About this Plan

Prayer is more than asking—it’s how we draw near to God, hear His voice, and walk in His peace. Over 14 days, you’ll learn to pray continually, approach God boldly, build a daily rhythm of solitude, use the ACTS framework, praise through pain, “pray your day,” seek wise agreement with others, and trust Jesus with every decision. Come closer as a friend of God—and be changed from the inside out.
