Next, reflect as you re-read Deuteronomy 30:1-10. Ask God to send his Holy Spirit to help you understand the central theme of Deuteronomy - God gives us commands that are not impossible to obey, but we will inevitably fail without God's work in our hearts. The promise of heart-circumcision is fulfilled in Jesus who obeys the law for us, but then gives us new hearts so we can obey it, too.
