Gracefully Anchored: A Devotional to Keep Your Marriage and Motherhood Anchoredનમૂનો

Day 3: Choosing Love in Marriage
Scripture:
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” — 1 Peter 4:8, NIV
Devotional Thought:
Marriage is beautiful—but it’s also a journey that requires grace, patience, and intentional love. Real love goes beyond the butterflies and special moments. It shows up in the everyday: in forgiveness after a hard conversation, in understanding when your spouse falls short, and in choosing to serve even when you're tired.
God designed marriage to reflect His covenant love for us—faithful, forgiving, and enduring. This doesn’t mean perfection; it means commitment. When you feel stretched, misunderstood, or unseen in your role as a wife, remember this: love is a decision. And you don’t have to make that decision alone. God supplies the strength and grace we need to love well, even on the hardest days.
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, help me to love my spouse with the kind of love that reflects Your heart. When it feels easier to withdraw, give me strength to lean in with kindness, patience, and grace. Teach me to honor my marriage as a part of my worship to You.
Journaling Prompt:
What does “choosing love” look like in your marriage right now? Is there an area where you need to extend grace? Write down one intentional action you can take this week to strengthen your connection with your spouse.
