2 Corintios 4:8-9

Does your past haunt you with guilt and a broken spirit? Is your life like a broken record—one in which your past is replayed over and over again? In this final message we will learn how the records of our past lives can break us and bring us to our knees. The beauty of this is that Christ had a broken record as well. In fact, He was broken to save and heal our brokenness.

Do you ever feel lonely? When you are lonely, you ache for companionship. But when you seek solitude, you enjoy being alone. These guided meditations are treasured times of solitude with God. The only security we have is in our Lord. We have this innate need to feel protected against outside forces. When things go wrong and it feels like there is no protection left, it can throw us into a desperate state. The best thing to do is stand on God’s word and what He tells us. We must take refuge in HIM.

This first part of the series, “The Uniqueness of Christ,” shows us Jesus’ unique request and how it relates to the body of Christ. This profound yet timely plan helps us understand why the physical body of Jesus Christ had to be broken, the new body that He gave birth to with his death, and the importance of His blood as a sign of a new covenant for us.
