Nombres 31:2

For millennia, God’s people have been carrying out a weekly Bible study plan. Every year, they read through the Torah from Genesis to Deuteronomy. In synagogue each week, they read and study a Bible passage—the weekly parshah. This is a double reading, Matot-Massei, from Numbers 30:2-36:13. Matot means “Tribes” and Massei means “Journeys.”

To discover the truths from a book like Numbers, which we tend to skip, this reading plan teaches us to have a devotion while also having a systematic study, in spite of the not so exciting chapters.

This is the fourth part of a reading plan through the Bible following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, this part of the plan will also focus on our only comfort in life and death from questions 1 & 2 of the Heidelberg Catechism.

Daily Bible reading plan with four daily reading passages in four categories: Old Testament History, Old Testament Poetry/Prophecy, New Testament Narrative, and New Testament Epistle. Created by Indian Hills Community Church.
