Mateus 24:2

Pentecost is not the end—it’s the sending. Pentecost: A Liturgy for the Unreached invites you into the season after Pentecost, where ordinary days become Spirit-empowered opportunities to live on mission. Through Scripture, historic prayer, reflection, and worship, this plan connects the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to God’s heart for all peoples. As you follow the rhythms of the Church, you’ll be invited to pray for the unreached and live as a witness to Jesus—right where you are.

Nobody knows the exact time of Christ’s return, but we know for a fact that the signs of the time will include hardships and tribulations. We need to be more vigilant, making firm our faith in Christ, and pursuing the accomplishment of the great commission to the best of our efforts, for the glory and honor of our God.

As we prepare for Jesus' coming as a baby to earth at Christmas, we also think of his second coming, when he will come again to take us to heaven. Like at Christmastime when we look forward to going home to celebrate with family and friends, we also look forward to Jesus taking us to our eternal home, where we will celebrate every day.

There is nothing to be afraid of in your future. The decisions you make now can help you develop a lifestyle of living in the present that will protect you from worrying or letting distraction rule your thoughts. Learn to entrust yourself to God for a sure future!
