We cannot live for yesterday, as it has already occurred. We cannot live for the future, because it is not here yet. The only moment in time we have is right now. We only have today. We need to change our perspective and think in terms of, “What can I do today?”. If we can change today, we can change our entire life.

As a writer, mother, and growth-minded individual, I am always looking for opportunities to learn. In the Bible, Jesus taught his followers using parables—simple stories to illustrate spiritual lessons. He is still doing this for me today. When I recently watched Star Wars with my family, the Holy Spirit highlighted it's parallels with His Word. Join me as we unpack the Jedi ways that point us to Jesus.

At the core of it, discipleship is taking care of and tending all the things Jesus commanded us. Yet how can we know what to do if we don't know His words? That is why we're exploring all of Jesus' words across the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each day includes a Bible narration from Ps Mark Varughese of the words of Jesus. In times of uncertainty, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. The news, social media, and the people around us can make us feel anxious or worried when impacting events happen. In times when it doesn’t seem like we have any control over things, we can find a place of comfort and peace in God’s Word.
