As a writer, mother, and growth-minded individual, I am always looking for opportunities to learn. In the Bible, Jesus taught his followers using parables—simple stories to illustrate spiritual lessons. He is still doing this for me today. When I recently watched Star Wars with my family, the Holy Spirit highlighted it's parallels with His Word. Join me as we unpack the Jedi ways that point us to Jesus.

At the core of it, discipleship is taking care of and tending all the things Jesus commanded us. Yet how can we know what to do if we don't know His words? That is why we're exploring all of Jesus' words across the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each day includes a Bible narration from Ps Mark Varughese of the words of Jesus. NOTE: the translation used in the narration is the New King James Version.

Jesus was intentional with his parables; the synoptic gospels, which give us an overview, present the parable of the sower, the wheat and the weeds, the mustard seed, and the yeast as a whole invitation to grow toward a full life that is given to others.
