Wisdom for training children
What will be your children's story? As time progress. Our children will tell the story about what is and was important to them. They will tell what was important to their parents. We are passing a story down to them. Remember they are watching what their parents are doing. How their parents are living their daily lives.
Do we as parents, teach our children the Word of God? Is your story, God's story?
Our home is the training ground for our children. Don't let other things distract us from training our children what God says is right and wrong. What the Bible say about " how to live our daily lives".
Dedicate your children to God. We know the world will try to take them. Satan will try to impress his worldly ways upon them. Don't send them out among wolves without knowing the spirit of God. They needs to know how much Jesus loves them. Know that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
Teach them obedience. And they need to see us being obedient to God. And show our children how to be a servant.
🔹Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. (John 12:26 NIV)
🔹“If you love me, keep my commands. (John 14:15 NIV)
🔹Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. (Proverbs 1:8, 9 NIV
🔹Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6 NIV)
Invite Jesus into your life because He has a job for you and your family.
🔹I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20 NIV)
