Matthew 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Jesus *said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes to live in, and the birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to rest his head.” Jesus replied to him, “Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens, birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no true home in this world.” But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.” And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Jesus was curt: “Are you ready to rough it? We’re not staying in the best inns, you know.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
