Do you have a "never give up" story to share with your group members? Whether that is one about yourself or someone you know?
Spend time reflecting on your most valued relationships through the lens of the following quote as well as the scripture below. "We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender". - Winston Churchill

Pastor Eric shares a Life Hack that can help us to never give up on our relationships. We need to have G.R.I.T...

G: Ginormous Amounts of Humility: Reflect on the passage below. How did Jesus display a humble mindset? Consider one practical way you can practice humility.

R: Relational Accounting: Take an honest look at one of your most valued relationships. How might you decrease the "withdrawals" and increase the "deposits"? If you are unsure, ask him/her!

I: Idealistic: Pastor Eric encourages us to "face the real but believe the ideal". How might your relationships change if you adopt the attitude of "the best is yet to be"?
T: Trust: Relationships cannot be great without a foundation of trust. One way to build trust is to be persistently positive. Spend time as a group brainstorming effective ways to build trust in different types of relationships.
Of the four elements of GRIT, which one do you feel you are doing well in? Which do you choose to grow in this week?
