How to Earn an ‘A’
If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
Accept the fact that adversity comes to everyone!
The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he sneers at them. He has said in his heart, "I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity."
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Four Ways to Meet with Adversity
1. Sensationalize it - exaggerate the crisis.
2. Minimize it - underestimate the crisis.
3. Advertise it - tell the whole world about it.
4. Analyze it - extract useful information from it.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, But in the day of adversity consider...
He delivers the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ear by adversity.
We must not allow adversity to cause us to panic.
Why should I fear in days of adversity?
1 Peter 3:14‑15
“Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord.
Wise counsel should be sought when adversity comes.

And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Trust God to bring an end to the adversity.
2 Samuel 4:9‑10
But David... said to them, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life from all adversity…”
Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Overcoming adversity requires us to stay the course!
Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
But he who endures to the end will be saved.
