Kalamazoo First Assembly of God
3-ish: “This isn’t where I thought I’d be”
The doctrine of the Trinity, God as Three-in-One, is one of the most difficult in Christian theology. John Wesley said, “Bring me a worm that can comprehend a man, and then I will show you a man that can comprehend the Triune God.” Though it is challenging, studying the Trinity can also be very rewarding. Augustine said, “There is no subject where error is more dangerous, research more laborious, and discovery more fruitful than the oneness of the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” This series approaches this beautiful and challenging doctrinal topic. The goal of our series is to reach a richer and fuller understanding of God, including His love, His plan of salvation, and how the Trinity works in the world and in the lives of believers.

The Doctrine of the Trinity: ONE God existing eternally in THREE distinct persons and all three are equally and simultaneously God.

The point is to know God so that we can participate in His love.

Recognition (of God) should lead to adoration and result in emulation.
#RinseAndRepeat #3ish
I don’t think people have rejected God as much as they have lacked awareness of him.

It’s absurd to demand God to move in our struggles but refuse to recognize Him in the good seasons.

We live out the dark what we learned in the Light.

Worship isn't just the songs we sing. It's about the life we live.

“When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words than my words be without heart.”
Herbert Cooper
Worship isn't just based on our circumstances. It's based on God's character.

Our God is good.
Our mission is important.
Our time short.
