Scripture: Luke 6:12-26
Speaker: Reid Kapple, ReidK@ChristCommunityKC.org
>> A Community Centered on Jesus…
- Keeps First Things First

“Our loyalty to Jesus and his Kingdom must always exceed our loyalty to an earthly agenda, whether political or otherwise...We should feel “at home” with people who share our faith but not our politics even more than we do with people who share our politics but not our faith...Wherever the reign of Jesus is felt, differences are embraced and even celebrated as believers move toward one another in unity and peace.” - Scott Sauls, Jesus Outside the Lines

“The marginalized and downtrodden receive special insights. They are the ones who can see the pain and injustice that are killing the world. It is to these voices that we must turn.” - Grace Ji-Sun Kim
“There is a strength, a power even, in understanding brokenness, because embracing our brokenness creates a need and desire for mercy, and perhaps a corresponding need to show mercy. When you experience mercy, you learn things that are hard to learn otherwise.”
- Bryan Stevenson, Just Mercy

Middle School Summer Camp

Youthfront serves as one of the highlights of our ministry calendar every year, and we would recommend it to all of our students. They will encounter Biblical teaching, formative experiences, energetic musical worship, crazy fun games, and lasting friendships. Summer Camp is where some of the most meaningful, life-long friendships are forged— friendship with peers and with Christ.
