Just as we take care of our physical body so we must take care of our souls. If we don't nurture the body, it gets anemic and the same is true with the soul. We are grateful for medications that can help the body. There is no pill for spiritual anemia, but there is a cure. Jesus told of the vine and the branches and how we need each other to produce fruit. The branch stays healthy by staying attached to the vine. Jesus says he is the vine and we are the branches and we need him if we are going to do anything. Spiritual vitality depends on us staying in touch with Jesus.

GIVE

Time. Talents. Service. Prayer. Story. Resources. We are called to give generously of our time, talents, service, prayer, story and resources. "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." [2 Corinthians 9:6-8]
