1 Corinthians 6:12 & Romans 6:17-18

In the late 1960’s, Stanford Professor and Psychologist Walter Mischel famously conducted “The Marshmallow Test”. Children ages 4-6 were placed in a room in front of a marshmallow and told, “You can eat this one now, or wait 15 minutes and I will give you a second one”. Only about 33% of the children had the self-control to wait 15 minutes! Self-control is a hard thing whether you’re a child or an adult, but the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to display self-control. Join us Sunday to hear what God has to say about self-control and putting Christ first.
