FREE Digital Bible Study Resources
One of our goals here is to provide everyone who attends The River with discipleship resources, which is why we’re giving all of our members access to RightNow Media for FREE! If you have not already signed up you easily get access by texting “RightNow HitTheRiver” to 41411.

Cultivating Prayer: Individually
The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. He gave them The Lord’s Prayer recorded in Matthew 6:9-13 as an outline for how to pray. If you have never memorized it, do so this week. Then pray one phrase of it each day this week using it as the theme for your prayer that day.

In Need?
The River Church has a Deacon Team in place to address the needs of people who are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We invite people to contact us, whether for yourself or for another person at the River. If you want to be considered for help by the Deacon Team, it is as simple as sending a message to deaconteam@HitTheRiver.com. The Deacon Team is made up of 4 members: Melisa Bock, Vicki Chappell, Terry Daviaux, and Phil Wolf. All requests are handled with confidentiality. The Deacon Team also helps provide boxes of food and personal hygiene products to people in need whether or not they attend the River Church.

Clothing Donations - Matthew 25 Ministries
We are partnering with Matthew 25 Ministries to collect gently used clothing, shoes and blankets. There is now a clothing bin located in the parking lot next to the driveway as you pull in. Please consider donating to Matthew 25 Ministries. Their work takes them locally, nationally, and internationally. For more information on Matthew 25 Ministries you can go to m25m.org.

Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
In my opportunities to influence I will represent Jesus.
1. My past can drive my future.
"We all have a past. It’s either your prison, your excuse, or your springboard to the future!" -Jentezen Franklin
2. My responsibility is to influence the culture and direction of those I lead.
3. My role can bring loneliness and personal attacks.
“I am told God loves me, and yet the reality of darkness, coldness, and emptiness is so great that nothing touches my soul. What tortures of loneliness! I wonder how long my heart will suffer like this?” -Mother Teresa
4. My focus is to steward my strengths and delegate my weaknesses.
“The goal is to build a well-rounded organization, not to become a well-rounded leader… Achievers are not well-rounded, they are men and women who play to their strengths and delegate their weaknesses.” -Andy Stanley
5. My leadership will treat people as Jesus did. With…
A. A servant’s heart
B. Respect
C. Grace
D. Accountability
E. Commitment to purpose
