Mission Hills Church
Equipted | Pursuing Power
As followers of Jesus, we've been entrusted with an incredible calling: to live on mission with Jesus, extending God's influence into every nook and cranny of our world. That's exciting, but it's also intimidating. It's easy to feel like we don't have what it takes to pull it off. But we do. You do. God has equipped you - and all the followers of Jesus together - with powerful, world-changing gifts. Join us as we learn together how to be the world-changers God has equipTed us to be.

Welcome to Mission Hills!
Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift.

Block Party

New to Mission Hills? We want to meet you! Join us next weekend for Block Party - a chance to meet staff & pastors, learn about our church, and meet other new guests in a fun, relaxed environment. We'll share a meal, play some games, and help you determine your next step for getting involved at Mission Hills. RSVP online for next weekend's Block Party. Saturday, June 29 at 6:15 PM | Sunday, June 30 at 12:15 PM.

Love is the tie that connects the diversity of our gifts to the unity of our mission.
Love is the lens that gives us clarity.
When we dislike someone, we tend to devalue their gifts.
When we love someone we tend to elevate their gifts.
Prophecy = delivering God’s word to His people.
Tongues = audible speech resulting from the Holy Spirit’s presence.
Tongues Type 1: The supernatural ability to speak a human language.
Tongues Type 2: An incomprehensible speech
Prophecy is understandable and useful to everyone.
God calls us to engage with Him both emotionally and intellectually. Which direction do I tend to lean and what can I do to develop the other side?
Love leads us to prioritize what's understandable and useful to everyone.
We should each look for ways we can strengthen the whole church.
(Prayer, Serve teams, giving, groups)
What next step can I take this week to strengthen the whole church?
“But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.” (1 Cor 14:19)

Outdoor Baptism

We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior. Baptism is a personal declaration that we choose to identify with Jesus. If you'd like to be baptized this summer, sign up online for our upcoming outdoor baptism service, and register online to attend one of our baptism preparation meetings on June 29 or 30.
