Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class on Sunday, July 14, 12:45pm-3:00pm. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, the class is a prerequisite. FREE Digital Bible Study Resources
One of our goals here is to provide everyone who attends The River with discipleship resources, which is why we’re giving all of our members access to RightNow Media for FREE! If you have not already signed up you easily get access by texting “RightNow HitTheRiver” to 41411.

Cultivating Prayer
How are you doing developing the habit of daily devotions? Did you take a look at the list of devotional titles and investigate any? Even if you can only squeeze in 5-minutes of Bible reading and prayer, that’s a great start. Devotionals and prayer resources can be found at the Guest Center.

In Need?
The River Church has a Deacon Team in place to address the needs of people who are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We invite people to contact us, whether for yourself or for another person at the River. If you want to be considered for help by the Deacon Team, it is as simple as sending a message to deaconteam@HitTheRiver.com. The Deacon Team is made up of 4 members: Melisa Bock, Vicki Chappell, Terry Daviaux, and Phil Wolf. All requests are handled with confidentiality. The Deacon Team also helps provide boxes of food and personal hygiene products to people in need whether or not they attend the River Church.

Clothing Donations - Matthew 25 Ministries
We are partnering with Matthew 25 Ministries to collect gently used clothing, shoes and blankets. There is now a clothing bin located in the parking lot next to the driveway as you pull in. Please consider donating to Matthew 25 Ministries. Their work takes them locally, nationally, and internationally. For more information on Matthew 25 Ministries you can go to m25m.org.

Once a month we send out an e-newsletter with informative articles, event information, and stories from people in our congregation. If you’d like to receive the e-newsletter, you can sign up online at http://eepurl.com/cTmULD

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
What does it mean for me to be a Christian ________________?
Every Christian should have a basic theology of work that guides them through life.
2. God gives us the ability to work and make money.
“...everything we are, everything we do, and everything we have is invested with a special devotion, dynamism, and direction lived out as a response to His summons and service.” -Os Guinness, The Call
Life@Work
God’s personal invitation
For me to work on His agenda,
Using the talents I have been given
In ways that are eternally significant.
3. My work is done for the glory of God.
