We believe the Bible is God’s truth and His Word to us.
We pray and study God’s Word to know Him more deeply.
We grow in relationship with Christ and each other.
We serve each other and the community with our spiritual gifts.
We worship God together.
We give generously to be a blessing.
We love unconditionally because everyone matters to God.
Looking Ahead to June...
Expand
Sunday, June 2... between services, we will honor our long-time Admin, Patty B, for her many years of service to our church family. We will have special snacks in the cafe and a basket for you to honor her with cards and gifts. The leadership of the church will be honoring her with a cash gift as well.

Tuesday, June 4, 6:30pm… Pastor Tim is hosting a seminar on how to access and use the online church directory. Please bring your laptop or smart phone or tablet to the event. If you do not have a portable computer device, we will walk you through the steps and you can take notes. We will meet in the MPR. Sign up today to learn how to use our church directory or email him.

Wednesday, June 12… Pastor Tim will be leading a training event for anyone interested or curious on how to become a “disciple” of Jesus and make “disciples” for Jesus by sharing your beliefs with others. This will be an introductory training session. Details about the discipleship training center will appear in the June newsletter along with emails and information in your church mailbox. Please pray about it, and if nothing else, pray for those who will be trained. Sign up today on the bulletin board or send him an email if you would like to participate in this training event.

Sunday, June 16… Father’s Day

Tuesday, June 18, 10:00am… Seasoned Saints featuring a performance by the men’s gospel quartet, The Jerichos. Lunch will be served after the program.
SERMON: "x3" - John 21

Discipleship is more than restoration. It is an active process of formation to transformation resulting in multiplication!

“Many people try to avoid looking back. To be sure, there is a wrong way to look back; it is wrong to look back at past sins and failures and defeats. That can only make you fail even more today. But it is good to look back to see where we have been and what the Lord has done in us and through us.” (Warren W. Wiersbe, The Bumps Are What You Climb on: Encouragement for Difficult Days)

Sticky Statement
Our formation as disciples of Jesus includes transformation of the heart, soul and mind; changing us into apostles, sent into the world for the multiplication of God's church!

Questions for reflection...
1. What can you learn about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in these verses?
2. What do you learn about yourself or others in these verses?
3. How will you apply what you’ve learned today? Be specific.
