Chestnut Ridge Church
Balance–Part 3
Too much to do. Too little time. Too many choices. Too many expectations. Sometimes, it’s just too much. In today’s world, it seems like a badge of honor to be busy. But is it really God’s will that we constantly be under stress and deadlines? Is there a better way to navigate life? Throughout this series, we’ll explore biblical strategies for maintaining a healthy balance in our lives, and how to deal with life when it’s simply too much.

Balance [Part 3]—Tim Haring

Problem: We don't live purposefully
Solution: Know is the new yes. Rule of Life.
Know is the new yes

Know—KNOW—is the new yes.
Believers then, are to walk (live) carefully, so as to be wise or skillful and thus please the Lord. The manner for this careful, precise walk is making the right use of every opportunity, and the reason for this careful walk is that the days are evil.

How to make the most of your life and time:

• How has God 'wired' you?
• What has God already revealed in the Bible about what we should or
should not be doing?
• Are there other people who can help you determine the best use of your
time?
Take an inventory of your strengths and weaknesses. Are you living within your sweet spot?
