Welcome to OroNaz!
We welcome you to worship, fellowship and learn together as we experience the presence of Jesus. It is our hope that you are able to connect with the God that loves you and experience the change that comes through growth.

Do you have kids?
We have awesome environments for them to learn about God on their level, babies through 6th grade. If you've got a fussy baby, there is a family room out the rear east door of the sanctuary with live feed of the service and access to a nursing room as well.

Is this your first time?
Everyone here had a first time at some point, and we're glad you're here with us. We would appreciate it if you filled out the guest card at this link: oronaz.org/new
Final Annual Thanksgiving Offering received today. Please make checks payable to OroNaz, writing “Thanksgiving Offering” on the memo line, or give online at oronaz.org by clicking on “Give” at top right of page. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Beginning Next Sun, Dec 1, the Season of Advent Worship Theme is “Between Two Worlds.” Advent means “coming.” In this season of God coming in Jesus we will look back to the loving movement of God’s incarnation as Savior; turn our attention to the present company of the Holy Spirit; all the while, practicing the coming promise of New Creation. Using the five historical themes of Christ’s advent (hope, faith, joy love, peace) our worship services will contrastthe present worldly kingdom which we have deemed ourselves rulers over, alongside the established yet unfolding kingdom of God. Hope shines as light in the darkness as Emmanuel “God with us” chooses a seat next to us instead of the heavenly realms. This reality brings the heart of God into focus as a relentless love that steps into our crumbling kingdoms, to offer a whole new way to live and breathe and have our being.

IT'S UPWARD SEASON! We have just finished our first Evaluation, but this is just the beginning. Our 2nd and last Evaluation is Sat, Dec 7, from 9am-12pm. Upward practice begins the week of Jan 6 and the first game is Sat, Jan 18. Sign-up to volunteer on bulletin insert and put in Offering bag.

Please Consider Bringing Pies for Serenity Thanksgiving Dinner! If you can help, please sign up on insert and put into offering basket or sign up at the table in the courtyard. Please drop pies off at the church on Wed, Nov 27. Thank you! Dale Marsh (680-2040)

Going By Staying: Patience
Travis Marshall
November 24, 2019
Our fragmented hearts pound anxiously to move about. Socially, we are mentored by movement and sized-up by our busy efforts to accomplish. As our hearts are formed by this pace we are surprised to learn that often God's way of going somewhere may be best lived out by staying put.
God’s Message through Jeremiah’s goes something like this:
“Your future is found by staying put.”
1. Learn to live in the place you’ve been put (v.5) - daily life.
2. Learn to love in the place you’ve been put (v.6) - daily relationships.
3. Learn to care about the place you’ve been put (v. 7a) - daily care for our town.
4. Learn to walk with God in the place you’ve been put (v.7b) - daily
praying and seeking.
