When Everything Falls Apart | The 3 R's
No matter how hard we try, we can’t always keep setbacks and struggles at bay. And sometimes, just when we thought we had this whole “life” thing figured out…everything falls apart. That’s how the first followers of Jesus must have felt when he was arrested and crucified. But Jesus knew everything that was coming…and before it happened, he taught his followers a series of crucial lessons about living with hope and courage when everything falls apart.

Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift!

Are My Kids on Track?

Tickets are on sale now. From birth to adulthood, our children’s physical and intellectual development is carefully tracked and charted. But what about their hearts? David Thomas and Sissy Goff will highlight the twelve emotional, social, and spiritual milestones your child needs to reach. You'll discover practical ways to guide your kids through any stumbling blocks they might encounter, and help them reach the appropriate landmarks. Register online.

Persecution is when we face difficulty from the world because we stand for Jesus.
Is it possible that my lack of persecution is because my faith isn’t public enough?
Am I prepared to face persecution when it comes?
Persecution is inevitable when our faith is public.
Realize that persecution from the world is natural because we are no longer of the world.
What we expect, we can endure.
We need to stop looking to the world for love it can't provide.
Remember that persecution is proof of our connection to Jesus and his promises.
Make sure your "persecution" is because of your faith, not your faults.
Reveal our faith, through the power of the Holy Spirit and on the platform of persecution.
1. We’re going to realize that persecution from the world is natural because we’re no longer of the world.

2. We’re going to remember that persecution is proof of our connection to Jesus and his promises.
3. We’re going to work to reveal our faith, through the power of the Holy Spirit and on the platform of persecution.
1. Do I have a persecutable faith?
2. How am I looking to the world for love it can’t provide?
3. What is one step I’m going to take this week to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in revealing Jesus to those around me?

Baptism Weekend | March 9 + 10

Baptism

We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior. Baptism is a public declaration of an inward faith, and a personal declaration that we choose to identify with Jesus. If you'd like to be baptized this March, we'd love to meet with you briefly to hear God's story in your life. Sign up online to attend one of our baptism preparation meetings.
