Two years ago we began a journey as a church family called Greater Things! The inspiration for this journey came out of the Scripture that records Jesus saying...

John 14:12
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

Don Carson
“Indeed, our own feeble efforts participate in the triumph of Christ and the work of his bequeathed Spirit to call forth an innumerable host of new followers of the Savior and Master we’re privileged to serve. These are the true dimensions of our calling; and our most mundane activities must be seen against this sweeping backdrop.”

“Call forth an innumerable host of new followers of the Savior and Master we’re privileged to serve.”

The greater things that God has called us to is “Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.”

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Greater Things projects we need to complete 2019-2020

Roof Renovation—$600,000
HVAC Replacement— $610,000
Exterior Door Security— $100,000
Campus Fence and Sign— $150,000
Secondary Entrances— $270,000
Retire debt on Road Construction and property development. $1,050,000

I know these number can be bit overwhelming but I want you to remember a couple of things—

1. This campus is home to the church and school so we are raising the funds together so that we can both be the best stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.

2. These projects when completed will prepare this campus for the next 20 years of ministry without the need for major construction updates. That date is 2040!

Here is what I want you to know—

1. We are extending Greater Things through the summer of 2020.

2. The immediate focus will be to replace the roof and 30 HVAC units as well as install high security doors at all entrances.

3. We will not borrow money to complete these projects.

4. The total cost is $1.3 million to complete those projects.

5. By the end of February we should have $900,000 of the funds needed and with the schools contribution of $150,000 we will have $1,050,000 of the funds needed to begin this June 17, 2019.

6. We are setting Easter April 21, 2019 as the date for the church and school together to raise the remaining $250,000 to pay for everything in cash.

Our Mission—What we do together
Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Our Values— What we believe

The Gospel— We are a people that believes Jesus is our God and King, the Bible is truth and the good news is the salvation offered only through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Church— We are a people who have been saved “by grace through faith" in Jesus Christ and who live in community with one another.

The World— We are a people committed to sharing with all people from every nation the love of Jesus Christ and salvation offered only in His name.

The Mission— We are a people committed to living every part of our lives in worship to God, making disciples for the glory of his name.

Our Strategy— How we get involved?

Love— Gathering to worship and serve God together.

Live— Growing in faith and strength together in LifeGroups as a community of believers.

Give— Stewarding all the resources God has entrusted to us together for the glory of his name.

Go— Living each day on mission together to make His name known.

What are our next steps?

1. Memorize the Great Commission and intentionally live it out.

2. Pray for our church family and community daily.

3. Take the next step in getting involved in the life of our church family—Love. Live. Give. Go.

4. Be a Disciple and start making Disciples.
