Welcome to OroNaz!
We welcome you to worship, fellowship and learn together as we experience the presence of Jesus. It is our hope that you are able to connect with the God that loves you and experience the change that comes through growth.

Do you have kids?
We have awesome environments for them to learn about God on their level, babies through 6th grade. If you've got a fussy baby, there is a family room out the rear east door of the sanctuary with live feed of the service and access to a nursing room as well.

Is this your first time?
Everyone here had a first time at some point, and we're glad you're here with us. We would appreciate it if you filled out the guest card at this link: oronaz.org/new

As we practice the presence of God in solitude, our prior, present and growing union with Christ forms how we live with each other.

Gifts of Solitude(as learned from Proverbs 2):

1. A prior Identity, “my son” (2:1) He is a beloved son, already loved.
2. A prior Give-ness,“receive and treasure" (2:1) Good things precede him.
3. A prior Attentiveness, “ear and heart” (2:2) His voice is second, not first.
4. A prior Prayerfulness, asking (vs. 3), seeking (vs. 4), finding (vs. 5)
5. A prior Waiting, (6-8) The Lord gives, stores up, shields, guards, watches over, delivers. Anything the son lacks is met in God.
6. A prior Filling, (vs. 10), “Wisdom will come into your heart” from God.
7. A prior Conviction, (9) "then you will understand." We learn to understand, that relating with God in community, comes by this means of solitude, and not by other means.
Solitude Shattered:

“Shattered Solitude” looks something like this when we (individually) look to the community (others, those that we are in relationship with) to provide what only God can.

1. Our identity is found mainly, in your tone of voice, your gestures, your approval/disapproval. Your feelings are my feelings. My identity is what you tell me it is.
2. We strengthen our grip rather than “receive and treasure” (2:1)
3. We disregard, ignore and demand rather than give, “ear and heart” (2:2)
4. We are prayerless with emotions and thoughts, demanding rather than asking, quitting or entitling rather than seeking, and losing or striving rather than finding.
5. We cannot wait upon the Lord. We take protection and deliverance into our own hands or require you to come through for us.
6. We are empty of God’s filling and full of our own doing.
7. We trust our means with each other to make our community good rather than God’s ways of solitude.
