RiverBank Kids Volunteers Needed
We are growing! It takes a lot of volunteers to make our children’s ministry run smoothly and safely each week. We are in need of additional helpers and teachers during both services. Come help our kids learn about Jesus, worship, and play. Email Tami Richardson at tami@hittheriver.com for more information on how to get connected.

Angel Tree
As part of our continued outreach to those in need, The River Church is helping provide Christmas for families through Interfaith Hospitality with The Angel Tree that is located in the cafe.

To help a local family with gifts, select one or more tags off the tree . Write on the check list which tags you chose, so we know who has each child/family.

Your purchased gift should be wrapped and have two name tags: a permanent one with the recipient’s name and the original tag. Place the gift(s) under the Angel Tree by Sunday, December 16. For more information contact Christy Bucher at (513) 477-1077.

Another way you can bless families in need is to purchase day to day items for these families. Items in need are listed in the bulletin. No need to wrap these items. Items donated will be divided amongst the families. Any of these items would be greatly appreciated. Donated items should be placed by the Angel Tree.

Youth Christmas Party
The River Youth will be bringing back their annual Christmas Party on Sunday, December 16 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. We will be doing an Ugly Christmas Outfit contest, worshipping together, and ending by bringing back the classic tradition of the white elephant gift exchange. Students are encouraged to bring a cheap, fun and silly gift to share for the exchange. We hope your student will join us.

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
“The whole transaction of religious conversion has been made mechanical and spiritless. We have almost forgotten that God is a person and, as such, can be cultivated as any person can.” -A.W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God
I pursue God best when I lean in to how He has made me.
“…the way we relate to God and how we draw near to him.” -Gary Thomas, Sacred Pathways
“Activists... often do the church as a place to recharge their batteries so they can go back into the world to wage war against Injustice… they are energized... by interaction with others, even in conflict.” -Gary Thomas
