Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

September 27 - Ground Breaking Ceremony & Outdoor Service at 10:30 am
Invite your friends and family to worship and celebrate! Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and pack a picnic lunch. We will have refreshing Italian ice available for everyone! Families are encouraged to worship together, as River Kids and Anchored Youth services will not meet.

September 27 - River Youth Bible Study & Ice Cream Sundaes 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Students will discuss an incredible truth: God is with us, and nothing can separate us from His love. Ice Cream Sundaes and Ultimate Frisbee will finish the evening with fellowship time.

Help support our Guatemala Mission Team!
Donation bins are located in the church cafe for the following items:
~ Socks (kids' sizes, adult small)
~ Underwear (kids' sizes, adult small & medium)
~ Small fleece blankets

Pastor & Ministry Staff Appreciation during the month of October
This is an opportunity as a church family to honor our Pastors and Ministry Staff by encouraging, appreciating and affirming them. Cards will be collected during the month of October. Boxes will be located on a table in the lobby. Feel free to use the cards provided or bring your own. We will present the cards to the Ministry Staff on November 1st.

September 30 - Base Camp
Base Camp is where men come to be challenged to grow in our faith and where we keep each other accountable to do so. Base Camp is designed to deepen our faith so we can be better leaders for Christ. Our first Base Camp will be on Sept. 30th at 7:00 pm at The River. Questions? Email Ryan@hittheriver.com

October 4 - The Art of Marriage class
Strengthen your marriage through Family Life Ministries' course, "The Art of Marriage." This Christ-centered six week small group study will help couples grow in communication, trust, forgiveness, intimacy, and spiritual unity. Whether you are newly married or have been married for decades, discover practical biblical principles to build a stronger, healthier marriage with Christ at the center. This is limited to five couples and will be available Sunday mornings during the 9:00 service. October 18 - Equipping to serve and influence others
Ever felt unsure how to guide a conversation, keep a group moving forward, or bring out the best in the people around you? Join us for a one-time class focused on building confidence and strengthening your skills in group settings. You'll gain practical tools for communication, collaboration, decision-making, and positively influencing others. Whether you're serving in a ministry area, leading a small group, or simply want to grow in how you engage with others, this class is for you! Join Leslie Stone for this interactive session. No materials needed. Just sign up.
When: Sunday, October 18, from 9:00 – 10:00 am (in youth room)

October 18 - Baptism Sunday
If you or a family member would like to take the step of obedience to Christ and make the public declaration of faith in Jesus, please register online at HitTheRiver.com. Baptisms will take place during both services.
