Regardless of the direction pressure comes from, we have ways to direct the pressure into something redemptive.
Pressure is to steer is to community.
Pressure is to drive us to God.
We must be reminded of the character and goodness of God.
We pray for courage and faithfulness.
Sometimes God doesn't remove the thing that is creating pressure. Sometimes He gives us the wisdom and courage to walk straight through it.
God is eager to supply what we need to remain faithful.
Application:
Before God Under Pressure
1. Where am I feeling the most pressure?
2. If pressure is to drive us to God and community, what changes can I make to see that I respond well?
3. What is my next faithful step?
Specify areas of obedience and faithfulness the Spirit of God is nudging you in while under pressure.
