1. Do you agree or disagree that the uniquely American virtue of individualism has contributed to the loneliness epidemic? If so, why? If not, why not?
2. What may be some other causes of the loneliness epidemic? How have you experienced it and/or where have you “seen” it in our culture? How might we address those causes?
3. Review this weekend’s sermon scriptures. Is the Biblical logic arguing for “Created for Community” clear to you? If not, where does its logic become unclear?
4. Does Jesus’ “Great Commandment” in Mt 22:35-39 inspire greater breadth and depth in and/or for your relationship with God and others? If not, why not? If so, how?
