Growth Group Discussion & Personal Reflection Questions:

1. Why are you a part of the church?

2. When have you felt welcomed?

3. What makes you feel welcomed?

4. In Romans 15:7, Paul encourages the church to welcome one another "as Christ has welcomed you." How has Christ welcomed you?

5. In Romans 15:1-7, it reads that the "strong" should bear with the failings of the "weak". What does that look like in practical, everyday relationships within a church, family, or community?

6. In Romans 15:5–6 there's an emphasis on living in harmony so that believers can glorify God with one voice. What are some challenges that make harmony difficult within the church?

7. How does the church community pursue harmony without ignoring the differences people have?

8. How does remembering Christ's acceptance of us change the way we respond to people who are different from us or who frustrate us?

In the ancient world, Apocalyptic literature was some of the most hopeful literature ever written and the The Book of Daniel is no exception. Pastor Jon will explore Apocalyptic literature - how did it develop? How was it received? What hope did the writers of Apocalypses hold and how can that hope shape us today? Join us continuing this Sunday, September 13th! Email pastorjon@stonebridgesimi.com to RSVP.
