Weekly Sermon Overview:
What have been hard lessons to learn in your life. Leaving home? Learning to live on a budget? Learning how to be a parent? Learning how to compromise in marriage? All of these are hard lessons, but you only learn them by doing them. This week we are going to consider how the nation of Isarel learned to trust God to sustain them in the wilderness. Like us, learning to trust God is no easy feat. For Israel, it was a messy process with people assuming they could take shortcut to God’s provision. Like us they learned that hard lessons in life do not offer easier or alternative routes.
